Quiet Evening, Early Morning and a Birthday Shoot

Have you ever itched to click that shutter while everyone is already fast asleep? Here are some of the photos from our previous holiday vacation. Sneaking out of the room to spend some more time on the beach, just listening to the sounds of the waves and finding good subjects.

If you like to find out more about the resort feel free to check below.
Ronco Beach Resort

It has been a while since I did some long exposure shots. Low light photography is very challenging for me I felt that I didn't know how to do it anymore. It was a good idea that I sneaked out of our room to get some practice. I took out my tripod with me and found a good spot in the sand.

Most of the people during this time were already drunk. Here in this photo, the guy in a white shirt was pointing out to me. I don't know if it meant something or if they were just talking about me. Well, they didn't seem to be aggressive or a threat in any way.

I went to the dock and the guys were actually friendly. They were just curious about what I was doing out late at night other than drinking.

Most of the people are already fast asleep in the huts and the wind was getting colder. I headed back to our room and sneaked in quietly. Climbed onto our warm bed and called it a nig

Early morning I was up already still getting that itch for that shutter. I wanted to capture what early morning looks like from this beach. Other people were also already up having coffee on the dock.

My daughter came with me as she wanted me to take more photos of her. She wanted a silhouette shot and this is what we got.

On this trip I got a chance to try out our new Go Pro Hero 9. I know there is a Hero 10 now but getting the 10 would be too much for us already.

I was amazed that the Go Pro works well for photography too. I had a notion that it was only good for videos. I do not own wide lenses on my mirrorless and I'm liking the wide shots I took here.
What do you think about the results?

Another photo shot from the Go Pro the day before.

Now for the birthday girl with some of the photos from our photoshoot. She enjoyed having her birthday on the beach and I'm thinking of having the next birthday coming on the beach again.

Up on the pathway is where we did most of the shoot and we had fun with this one. We enjoyed too much on the surroundings here and we forgot to take some photos in the water. Maybe on our next beach visit, it will be our priority.

I !LUV the long exposure shots. !PIZZA

Thank you! Long exposures are fun but challenging

Welcome. Your shots turned out well.😊

Those are some really sweet long exposure photos. I'm a really big fan of low light photography, too; I like the juxtaposition of the super bright light it provides with the deep blacks. Really awesome morning silhouette, too!

Thanks buddy I really enjoyed it. I should do this more often. Can't wait for our next vacation. Problem is it has to be overnight lol. Cheers!
