Sunrise Cove Photoshoot

A photoshoot located at the second resort that we visited last holiday in Calatagan, Batangas Philippines. The location is a true gem in this province. Surrounded by nature, the sun, the sand and the sea.

Here are some of photos from this location with my only model who is my daughter.
All the photos here are shot straight from the camera with no editing.

Morning Coffee at the Beach

How would you like to enjoy a delicious local coffee brew as the sun rises over the horizon? The warm glow of the morning sun will definitely inspire you to take a couple of shots. The ambiance was perfect to enjoy that warm brew to start your day.

Getting Ready for a Morning Stroll

After enjoying that coffee we were getting ready to take a stroll on the beach. She sat on one of the cabanas and noticed it was a good spot to snap a couple of shots. I wanted to wait until people left the background but I realized after a couple of minutes that they were not going anywhere. I could edit out the people from the background. Maybe I'll work on it some other time.

The Beach Stroll

During this time there were no people around and it was a perfect time for our shoot. She does all her poses randomly but I should learn more about how to direct poses. I just shoot what looks good to me but I think poses are very important. Here I just let her have some fun.

I'd like to hear some feedback from the pros out there.

The Stone Pathway

This location is set on the stone stairs that lead to the cabins. The rails are made from bamboo, and the walls in the background are coral rocks. The plants enhance the tropical ambiance of this location. I think I love this location the most and I took a lot of shots here.

That ends our photoshoot at Sunrise Cove. I hope you liked the photos and please I would like to hear some feedback. What I could work on and learn more about.

These photos are really nice. I like how chill and comfortable the model is, and also the poses.

The first few photos can be better with a bit more composition and a change of angles. Down below, or from above. Even with the bench she is seated on.

Those are some really fun photos. The model certainly looks like she's enjoying her time away!

I'll admit, that looks like an awesome place to have a coffee. When I vacation in the mountains I'll rent a house with a large front porch, and that's where I'll have morning coffee, overlooking the mountains and the forests. Very peaceful.

And yeah, background people always ruin an otherwise great photo!

It was a really fun shoot with my daughter. She gets free social media photos and I get to practice more lol. The place was amazing I wish we could stay longer. Your mountain vacation sounds enchanting. You forget all the craziness going on around us.
