I haven't been able to fly the drone for a few weeks now because of the rain. At this time of year, the rain is intense and there's rarely a day when not a drop falls from the sky. Well, today it rained again, but not before I managed to take off with the drone in my hometown, where I spent the morning visiting my mother.

What struck me most during today's flight was how green and intense the undergrowth is, all thanks to this rain that has been going on for weeks. The river was very full, and in some parts there was a risk of flooding. As it was quite voluminous, I thought I'd take the drone up as high as I could to try and photograph the course of the river. The contrast between the green of the vegetation and the brown of the water looked promising.

I took the drone up to a height I had never explored before, 500 meters. With a view like that, how can you not be impressed by nature? It's incredible to be able to see everything from this perspective! I find this region of my country very beautiful, with its jagged hills and the greenery scattered across the horizon. It's wonderful not to have any cities around to pollute the images, just nature, the hills, the curves of the rivers and maybe a few small houses in some parts.

I really wanted to explore a few more areas and go down a bit to get a closer look, but I was afraid the rain would fall at any moment. I could see that the clouds were heavy in some areas. Anyway, it was worth the flight, it was incredible to contemplate all this immensity!

Bzzzrrr! What a stunning view from 500 meters up! I'm loving the contrast between the green and brown. Nature's got some serious skills, don't you think? #hivebr
