We're only two days away from Christmas and we can already say that we've reached this commemorative date, as the preparations in many homes already begin at an early age. This is the best time of the year for me, and I'm sure it is for many people too, because it's a time to celebrate the birth of Christ, get together with the family, think about presents and enjoy good food and plenty of it!
Well, here at home I'm experiencing a dilemma, but a good one. As I live with my girlfriend, we have our own way of celebrating Christmas, and I'm going to have to share the 25th with some loved ones. Firstly, I'll probably attend the dinner at my girlfriend's family home on Christmas Eve. Then, early on the 25th, I'll go to my mother's house to spend Christmas Day with her and other relatives. The dilemma is that my mother wants me to go there early on the 24th, but I also need to spend time with my girlfriend and her family. Well, I don't know exactly what I'm going to do yet.
I'm looking forward to going to my mother's house, but I also want to spend time with my son. However, he usually spends Christmas with his mother and New Year's Eve with me. Even so, I'll do my best to at least deliver his Christmas present on the 25th.
So far, things are going well. I got the day off on the 24th due to my good performance at work, and this week I'll only be working today, Thursday and Friday. My birthday is on Sunday, and I almost didn't get another day off, since in my company the employee gets the day off on their birthday, which I think is very nice. In any case, I'll be working during this period, but these days off will help make the Christmas atmosphere even better.
In my company, things are quiet and traffic is very low. I'm working very little at this time of year, which is quite different from a few years ago when I worked in retail. This was the busiest period for those who own stores. This current tranquillity is something I value a lot; a few years ago, at this time, I would have been on the verge of madness! On the other hand, commerce always offered the chance to make a good profit, so in a way it was worth it.
As well as family celebrations, there are also get-togethers with colleagues from the company. We already had a celebration last week with my entire sector, and we're going to have another one this Friday with just my team. It will be more private, inside the company, during working hours. We're already organizing the details, and this will be a good time to catch up with friends from work, since we work from home and only communicate via chat.
This is a special time of the year, a great opportunity to relax, relieve the mind and experience moments of happiness. All this helps to recharge our batteries for the coming year. I'd like to go on vacation at this time, but I haven't yet completed the necessary period, as I've only been with the company for a short time. Even so, this period has been very enjoyable. I'm having some new experiences and, although I still have to decide what my Christmas will be like, I'm sure it will be amazing once again!

Meu aniversário será no domingo, e por pouco não consegui mais uma folga, já que na minha empresa o funcionário ganha o dia de folga no aniversário, acho isso muito legal. De qualquer forma, estarei trabalhando nesse período, mas essas folgas ajudam a deixar o clima de Natal ainda melhor.
Na minha empresa, as coisas estão tranquilas e o movimento está bem baixo. Estou trabalhando muito pouco nesta época do ano, o que é bem diferente de alguns anos atrás, quando trabalhava no comércio. Esse era o período mais agitado para quem possui lojas. Essa tranquilidade atual é algo que valorizo muito, há alguns anos, nessa época, eu já estaria à beira da loucura! Por outro lado, o comércio sempre oferecia a chance de faturar bem, então, de certa forma, valia a pena.
Além das festas em família, também tem as confraternizações com os colegas da empresa. Já fizemos uma comemoração na semana passada com todo o meu setor, e faremos outra nesta sexta-feira apenas com minha equipe. Será algo mais particular, dentro da empresa, durante o expediente. Já estamos organizando os detalhes, e esse será um bom momento para rever os amigos do trabalho, já que trabalhamos em casa e nos comunicamos apenas via chat.
Esse é um momento especial do ano, uma ótima oportunidade para relaxar, aliviar a mente e viver momentos de felicidade. Tudo isso ajuda a recarregar as energias para enfrentar o próximo ano. Gostaria de ter férias nessa época, mas ainda não completei o período necessário para isso, já que estou na empresa há pouco tempo. Ainda assim, esse período tem sido muito agradável. Estou vivendo algumas experiências novas e, embora ainda precise decidir como será meu Natal, tenho certeza de que será incrível mais uma vez!
