British start-up Gaussion announces a revolution in EV battery charging technology. The company has developed a magnetic charger that charges existing batteries in EV cars at 150-200 miles in 10 minutes, without violating the terms of the battery warranty. By the way, it turned out that batteries tolerate such charging well and their life is not shortened, which is the case with traditional charging with high current. The concept is based on generating a magnetic field in such a way that the ions do not flow from cathode to anode in a straight way, but avoid obstacles that stand in their way. This reduces the battery charging resistance and significantly speeds up the process. Thomas Heenan, creator and CEO of start-up Gaussion, says the technology hasn't even come close to the upper limit of charging speed yet and promises to further reduce charging times. This technology (called MagLiB) can also reduce battery production costs. One of the stages in production is the final charging and discharge of the battery, which takes more than 250 hours and accounts for about 30% of the production cost. MagLiB can significantly shorten this process. First demonstration units will be ready in 2025.

I am very curious how it will work "in the wild". BTW in this case, batteries in cars could be smaller and lighter and cheaper :) And therefore greener.
