I propose a scholarship fund to support at least one exceptional artist each year with the POB NFT whitelisting fee. This artist should be active in POB and VYB creating art that benefits the community. The art can be in the form of music, audio, video or other visual art that can be minted in an NFT form. Preference will be given to artists who can create in demand collectible art like pob punks, card games, books, puzzles, series, etc...
The POB NFT whitelisting fee is 1000 POB. I am willing to support 250 POB this year. I would like others including @proofofbrainio to contribute to this fund.
I made a new account called @pobscholarship and each year the funds from the account can support exceptional artists who contribute to the market value of POB and VYB.
If you know any exceptional artist who have promoted the pob or vyb community let me know. Each artist interested in recieving this type of scholarship can make a scholarship application post including recent works as well as plans for future works.
You can link your scholarship application to the @pobscholarship post after @pobscholarship makes the official announcement. If your are interested in contributing to the POB NFT whitelist scholarship you can donate to @pobscholarships. I will use that account only for supporting artists to pay the POB NFT whitelist fee.
I am making this post make the community aware of my intentions. If I am going the wrong direction with this please tell me now because once @pobscholarship posts it will be hard to go back. I expect @pobscholarship to post around January 1st.
Let me know your totally honest opinion here before I start anything. I wonder if pobfunds should already be doing something like this.
