I'm running late this fortnight. It's been a super tiring week and my weekend has ended up pretty busy too!
On a side note, when I look through the gardening posts to select some for featuring, I always try to make sure I have some curation nominations in reserve for quality posts which might be under rewarded, but lately I'm noticing that most of them don't need it. I'm rather proud to see how far we've come on Hive that reward distribution has become so much better.
With @housecatharsia writing you can expect a delight for the eyes in a post. I really don't know where to start with describing what they are up to as the cold weather persists and they plan ahead with seeds and seedlings ready for a head start in the garden when the warmer weather finally starts. I am captivated by the gorgeous seeds, like decorative beads which fit well in all the pretty little containers they've been collected and saved in. I can't recommended this post enough!
@jonyoudyer is also trying to work with a cold spring start in order to get started with his gardening season. It's been an interesting time for him, with gophers and toads making appearances, but it looks like the gardening is finally starting in earnest.
Going over to more tropical climates we see @godslove123 finding clever ways to save money on groceries by growing his own when the prices get high. Of course ways to save money in the garden is a must too. Check out the plant protectors for when the sun gets hot on delicate seedlings.
Over in Greece we join @illusivelf for more summer gardening preparations. They have chosen some of their favourite foods and herbs to go in for the growing season and the soil is looking beautiful, so hopefully the plants will be loving it. It's a pretty little garden with a lovely backdrop of olive trees.
This fortnight beneficiaries go to @godslove123 and @illusivelf.
