Happy new year everyone! I hope you've had a good start and lots to look forward to as well.
There's probably no point in me apologising for my absence again, because you're likely getting used to it by now. 😅😳 There weren't an awful lot of posts over the Christmas period anyway.
As I was scrolling through the #homesteading tag I was a little surprised to find some wonderful posts from an author I'd previously not encountered, @calendulacraft. Wondering how I could have missed her for so long, I investigated and discovered that her gardening posts used to be done under the account name Libra.gardener, a name I actually have come across on occasion before. It seems she's consolidated her writings under the one account and what a lovely account name too. Of this week's fantastic offerings from her I thought I'd share the most gardening related one, as she tells us about the history of the garden on the property she's currently living on and how she's gathering from this gardening ready for when they move to their permanent place.
A fairly new Hive user caught my attention with his activity filled post. @imahfuzur and his father did some hard work to create a new gardening space in front of their house. It looks like no easy task, but he seemed to be really enjoying it.
The weather hasn't been kind to the garden of @bigeyes2012's husband and neither have the pests. Thankfully, there's still lots to love about it as they continue to water what isn't being eaten and wait for the rains to arrive and help them out.
After getting busy over Christmas, @lorennys has finally found the time to do a bit of tidying in her garden. It's an impressive collection in pots and a feast for the eyes!
Beneficiaries go to @bigeyes2012 and @imahfuzur
