HOW IS HIVE DIFFERENT FROM OTHER SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS LIKE WEB2?
Unlike other social media platforms which are owned and controlled by a person, hive is a blockchain platform that is not owned or controlled by a particular person. That is to say, users have control over their contents.
On hive, there are rewards given to creators that can be exchanged for cryptocurrencies.
On hive, your content is secured as one cannot claim it to be theirs, unlike other social media platforms where intellectual properties are stolen on a regular basis.
Hive provides a strong community for interactions and also, engagements by voting on contents, to determine their relevance.
VIVIDLY EXPLAIN THE FOLLOWING TERMINOLOGIES IN YOUR OWN UNDERSTANDING.
Plagiarism: Plagiarism in other words is stealing. It's the act of taking someone else's work and claiming it to be yours. It's the act of not giving credit to the real source.
This act can attract punishment on hive. Hence, it's not permitted.
Vote Begging: This act is offended on hive. It is the act of tagging people to vote on your posts. This can lead to down vote on your posts.
Post Recycling: This simply means taking out an old post and reposting again. This act also attracts punishment.
IN WHAT WAYS IS THE USE OF TAGS RELEVANT TO YOUR POSTS? DO YOU THINK ABUSE OF TAGS MAY ATTRACT DOWN VOTES?
Using tags on your posts are very important as these are part of the rules in hive. Tags helps in showing your content to the right audience who are interested in your topic.
Using the right tags leads to reblogging, upvotes, delegations and comments.
Abusing tags may not attract votes because people will find it hard to come across your posts. Using the wrong tags reduces the quality of your post.
The five general tags are:
•Proof of Brain.
•Vyb.
•Pimp.
•Hive-engine.
•Inleo.
YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT ON HOW TO USE MARKDOWNS ON YOUR POSTS. PROPERLY MAKE USE OF SOME MARKDOWNS YOU HAVE LEARNED WHILE ANSWERING THE QUESTIONS ABOVE.
I have been able to use the italics, bold, making texts smaller.
Thank you @nkemakonam89 for taking out time to explain these well to us. Well appreciated.
Thank you for reading through.
