Well, hello stranger
We are starting to experience higher temperatures here in South Africa, making it a lot more comfortable to be outside later in the day. The sun is setting a bit later in the evening and we get to enjoy the "spring sunsets" once again. This might only be my opinion, "winter and autumn sunsets" in South Africa tend to be orange and blue (cold), while our "spring and summer sunsets" are more pink and purple (warm).
I made myself a cup of strong coffee when I got back from work today, and I could see the change in the sky. I made my way outside with a blanket (for comfort) and enjoyed the sunset.
The photos were taken on my Samsung A31. I remember getting it since the guy told me it had a great camera. While at times it's not so wonderful, most of my photographs have been taken with it, and 80% of them are amazing!
Pink and purple sunsets are my absolute favourite. The clouds look like cotton candy and it reminds me of my childhood. Innocent, pure, soft and happy.
Maybe I enjoy pink and purple sunsets since it's my favourite colours? Whatever the reason, the soft colours of the sky takes away all my cares. Did I almost cry while in traffic? Yes, but it doesn't matter anymore, the sky is happy so I'm happy.
When the sun reached the horizon, the sky changed to blue. I spent a few more minutes outside before making my way back inside. It's amazing how the setting sun paints our world in different colours each day.
Enjoy the short weekend! Go look at the sunset and share the beauty with the rest of us.
