A day I will never forget!
Hello everyone, season greetings, how are you doing today, I hope your day is going as was plan?
Today's big question is, vacations is what to you?
Most people are of the opinion that it's a time for resting simply put relaxation, some are of the view that it's adventure moments of memories.
Vacation comes with unforgettable moments, it maybe a travelling, holiday, staycation leave which cones with enjoyable and lasting experience.
To workers out there, vacation is a time to ease up stress, rebuild and recharge from dad to day hustle. This experience brings joy if it's carefully utilized. Most workers love using this period for visitation to their love ones and most people love it away from their love ones to a quiet and lonely environment.
In my case, I will chose a school trip to be my most unforgettable vacation, having to travelled with loved ones to a place we haven't visited before, the experience and contribution from group members was top notch, both in learning new things, in fact it's was a full impactful trip and vacation.
The vacation was planned and carry out during the holiday, which was a period free from lectures and all aspects of curricula activities. Some interested and student opted into plans of vacation, and began making contribution as was suggested by the planning bodies.
On the main day, we gathered at a bus stop while waiting for other to join, few minute to noon we made the trip going with approximate 45 students of my department and other interested persons in the list, the plan was to settle there for a week while we explore the city of Calabar.
The beautiful city of Calabar was worth visiting, the place we lodge was top notch too, the vehicles that cones to pick us out on a daily basis was worth paying for as they demanded more money at end of their service.
According to some students, that was their first visitation, and others that have made some beautiful comments on the government transformation of the city to a new city, the roads, bridge and flyovers are all at their peak, the airport and the ongoing mini stadium on one of the city is quite commendable.
We spent hours on a daily basis on site seeing, rode in the evening along the beautiful streets while checking on some beautiful bar and restaurant. The national museum, archive etc in the city of Calabar was in the list of some historical centre we visited.
At the end of our trip and vacation, the impactful experience rejuvenated the students minds, body and soul ahead of the school sessions and semester which was about to begin in few month. We actually enjoyed our stay at Calabar and wish we could stay more buy since the plans was for a week stay, we needed to respect that factfact till next.
