The serious expressions in these faces tell me there is something more going on with these primates from the zoo. I often wonder, if they could talk, what would they have to say? I like the contrast in their fur when changing these to monochrome; it really brings out some nice details and works well with the lack of light that their enclosures have. Their haunting facial expressions stick with me that much more when I see them this way.
At first glance, the faces of primates look cute, but the look in their eyes can't lie, they are hiding something that is difficult to express.
That is very true, there is much more going on behind these eyes then can really be explained.

Nice selection of photos. Monochrome presentations of these photos are great for the audience.
Animal have ways to communicate with human, but if rejection is the only position from human side they stop all communications.
