Getting really close to a spider like this isn't something I would normally do. When there is a camera and lens involved though, that dynamic changes quickly. Seeing the finer details of this intriguing creature up close actually starts to become inspiring. I want to know everything about this spider as I view its magnificence. Its tricky to capture all its details as the depth of field on a macro lens starts to get really shallow at this close range, so its good to just go with the flow and try and get more angles, see what side the spider will want to present and I feel like it gave the images an extra dimension as the web was really a more 3 dimensional object rather then being flat or parallel to something.
