These red berries are ones that I encounter often when I walk trails around Calgary. I don't know if they are edible, so I won't even try. I found they looked pretty neat up close as they dried out. I figured they would make a great subject for macro photography. Something about the wrinkles and lines that makes me want to capture the finer details. When they are fully dried and withered, they lose all their colors and turn red.
