Fish Harvesting Activity In The Pond With Children

Hello friends, how are you today and hopefully we are all still in good health and can participate in activities smoothly.

Saturday 14 September 2024, on this occasion I would like to show you again some interesting pictures with friends in this beloved community. Today's picture is a picture of an activity in a pond where fish are kept and on that day I invited several small children in the area where I live and I asked them to help me in doing this activity. Because if I do it myself, of course I can't and won't be able to, so I have to invite them to take part in the activity.

They were all quite fun when we invited them and they were also people who really liked to catch fish in the pond. They asked to go down into the pond to get the fish. After I dried the water. I also told them to be careful when catching fish because the type of fish that we caught or the type of fish that we harvested was tilapia and this fish has quite sharp spines on its upper back so that if it gets pricked on our skin it will be quite sharp. It really hurts.

Apparently they are also very good at doing activities like this because their daily activities when they are not at school are often playing in the irrigation canals to catch the fish there. Before I continue to discuss the picture that I have prepared, it would be a good idea for me to say my words of respect to all my friends wherever they are and hopefully the best for all of us.

We can see in the healthy picture shown above, the fish pond where I work still has a dirt floor and the walls have been made quite neatly with concrete. And there are also some fish ponds that still have dirt walls. The water source in this fish pond is also quite easy because there is an irrigation canal that is sufficient for the water needs in the pond. The children I invited to do this activity were quite happy because they could catch the fish in the pond. They are willing to get muddy to emphasize in the pool. I prepared some equipment for this fish friend, such as a rake and other equipment.

By the time we had caught all the fish in the pond and I had also caught them in one of the small tubs at the top. I took the children to the fish shelter in a small tub and then I distributed the fish to them. When they were holding the valuable fish they had caught, I tried to invite them to take some photography while they were holding the fish.

I also took the fish to the market to sell. First of all, in the afternoon, ask the people here about the tilapia fish that we keep. They still consider tilapia to be a smelly fish when eaten. Yes, try to explain to the community that the tilapia fish that are available in this area are tilapia fish that live in flowing water and not tilapia fish that live in still water or swamps. You can bring 10 kg of fish to burn the fish and then eat it with the people in the area and then it is proven that tilapia that live in running water do not have an odor when eaten and do not smell fishy.

Therefore, the next day I was asked to bring back the fish that I cultivated to sell at the market and many people visited Rama to be able to buy the tilapia which had a delicious taste and had meat that contained a lot of protein.

OK, friends, those are some of the signs and pictures that I can show you today and hopefully these pictures can cheer up all my friends and make them beautiful pictures for us all. Thank you to all my friends who have given me encouragement and opportunities and see you again later in my next post.

Note, the words I wrote in this article are in Indonesian, and I first wrote them in the smartphone notes application section. Then to translate into English I used Google's help.
