Hello Hivers, how are you today? may you always be healthy and happy. This is my first time writing in the GEMS community, greetings. Introduce me Risma, I am a mother who has two children. I've just been active again writing on hive, because my health has been disturbed for almost a week. I feel feverish, unwell, dizzy and weak. As I write now it's also not fully fit, but better than yesterday. I pray that all of us are always healthy and enthusiastic in running the days.
On this occasion I share a story about grilled rice, I hope you like it. This morning I had a babah who brought food, namely four grilled rice. Babah is the grandfather of the children who are the father of my husband. Babah visited us who were sick with a lot of food.
The fried rice I received from Babah was four in number, brought in a plastic bag and the rice wrapped in banana leaves. My son and I can't wait to enjoy it soon. My son ate it voraciously and it tasted really good. Has anyone enjoyed Nasi Bakar?
The grilled rice we eat is a traditional food in ancient times, because the cooking method used is still very traditional. The traditional way of cooking is to use a hawu stove to burn it using bamboo as a rice container. To make grilled rice, it's not too difficult. First, we prepare the ingredients that will be used. Second, we first prepare the stuffing of the grilled rice, we can fill it with chicken or beef. After everything is ready, enter the stuffing of chicken meat into the washed rice. Wrap it in banana leaves to make it more delicious when burned. The aroma of burnt banana leaves will add to the taste in enjoying it.
The grilled rice that we ate was filled with chicken meat that was seasoned with red chili. It tastes good and is not spicy even if you use red chili. In the chicken mix, there are basil leaves so that the aroma of the grilled rice is more delicious. I ate it voraciously until it didn't feel like it was going to run out anymore.
Grilled rice can be enjoyed with other side dishes such as urab, salted fish, chili sauce, fresh vegetables, tofu, tempeh and other foods according to individual tastes. Grilled rice as the main course is eaten at lunch and breakfast. What is the difference between nasi liwet, fried rice and grilled rice? Almost all rice uses spices, but there is a difference, namely liwet rice is processed like cooking rice and seasoned, fried rice is fried while grilled rice is burned. Nasi Bakar does have a very simple appearance, but it is not as simple as it tastes.
The grilled rice that we enjoy is certainly not burned directly into the fire, but is burned on the grill. The grill can be Teflon, pottery, or grilled fish. If burned directly into the fire, then what will happen will be burning banana leaves and will cause damage. We can burn it through intermediaries. The distinctive aroma of burning will come out more using the grill that we usually use for grilling grilled fish or for barbeques.
