The SPS staking requirements have concluded with this End of Season and while the update landed mid season, it still was able to give us a more detailed insight in terms of what to expect with this new season looming. Let's go over the experiences and what to expect.
Differences Between Previous and Current Info
If you recall, I made a post about what we know so far about SPS staking here. While the info is outdated, it's good to use it as more of a benchmark for comparison between info known at that time versus the final outcome when the update finally happened.
The ending update is the table above which falls quite different from the initial table provided but does provide more clarity in terms of where you stand and where you'll want to try to DCA into which league you'll be able to maximize your rewards.
Just basing on this graph though, majority of players will potentially fall into the silver and gold category so it might get intense in those leagues.
Wild Versus Modern
The Wild Versus Modern situation is highlighted even more in this new update because currently, Wild is the place to be if you want better rewards. Granted, it's much harder to actually win games but from last season's comparison, you'll roughly take a 3:1 ratio in terms of wins to get roughly the same rewards. That is, 3 wins in Modern will net you about the same battle SPS for 1 win in Wild. That may potentially change though since we're starting a new season so the rewards pool is freshly filled.
Speaking of rewards pools, people may think about going down a league or two just to maximize their rewards with the staked SPS that they have. This means that you might maximize your rewards for the said league, but also that a lot more people will try to go into the lower leagues together with you. This, in turn, will have more competition in the specific league reward pool so you'll have to monitor closely if it'll be better for you to get or rent the SPS needed to move up a league.
This might also again make a 180 if bots are no longer allowed in Modern so be on the lookout for that.
TeamPH Supporting the Community
As always, TeamPH as a community is looking to help out our members and one of the initiatives that is in the works is support via staked SPS. It's a no brainer as it's a big help to the Filipinos especially for the smaller players who have a hard time getting the accumulated SPS. Details are below and our Discord link is at the bottom if you want to check us out and ask questions!
Hello TeamPH

This is an example at current market value.
TEAMPH = DEC per SPS (The billing price will be current market value of SPS each Friday times 1.5)
Example: at todays price
35.58 Team PH Staked = 5000 SPS per day
996.24 Team PH staked per Month ( 4 x billing days)
If you are interested or have any questions please reply here. Currently offering 1 block per person till more blocks available over time as I build up my stake.
The staked SPS is a game changer and is finally a big use case for SPS which has been stagnant for more than a year. While it makes things difficult for smaller players and even big players who need to accumulate tons of SPS, there are ways we can go around the problem either by renting SPS or availing of certain deals like what we have at TeamPH. Decisions will have to be made like some players will no longer multi accounts, others will drop a league while others will think about renting SPS long term. Decisions will be made and we'd be happy to discuss in our discord if you want to run questions by us.
What's your strategy with the update? Let us know in the comments!
