Day three. Let's give it up to day three. Another day of Rising Star and another day of pizzas being pulled away from me. It's like the game just wants to taunt me. Try again tomorrow for another shot at finding more than one pizza!
As frustrating it is, I guess it is a bit nice to be a bit more relaxed and not having to micromanage the game as much as I have been. But at the same time, there's feels like there's not much progress being made. I got a total of 1 Demo mission done today and did a bunch of starting missions in both zones, fingers crossed and hoping for that pizza slice to show up and bless my pizza box. It didn't happen until mid day and I ended up using that to try to find another. And that turned out leaving me empty handed once more.
Starbits:
Looking at today's starbit gain, it has been the worst day I have had in a long time. My total earnings for the day tanked all the way down to 1650. This is partly due to me only farming out the starting missions, but also the lack of energy recovery through out the day. And now that I think about it, I think my mission rotation might need a bit more tweaking.
On days like these I think I should rotate back to my original plan. Doing a longer mission and waiting for my energy to refill. While it will take a lot of time throughout the day, it does tend to yield higher starbit rewards. I think I'll give this mission plan another day or two before switching over.
Ending:
Finally, on to the mission count for the day. I ended my mission count at 841, giving me a gain of +24 missions since yesterday. I did nothing really but the first couple of missions available and didn't get a whole lot of value out of it today. The plan now is to save up all the starbits I can and grab a second pizza slice. If all goes well, this should help alleviate some of the pains of lack of energy recovery.
