Today in Rising Star the struggle for energy continues. It wasn't as bad today, considering I actually managed to find a second slice lying around after one of my missions. Even after I stored the first one in my box. It was a pretty boring day overall as I took it slow, wanting to hold on to the extra slice for as long as I could.
Starbits:
On the plus side, Starbits for the day were much higher. I managed to double what I earned yesterday and nearly got back to my 4k starbit daily average. So instead of sitting with just another 1600, I ended up with 3400. Adding up the last 5 days shows that I still have an average of 3550 starbits per day.
If I wanted to keep making starbits, something had to change. So I did the only thing I could really do to solve the problem at hand. I bought an additional pizza slice.
The Cold Slice:
While I was on my grind I only had one thing on my mind. A cold slice. And did I get one. Well, really my second one. I was having such a hot streak with maintaining my energy with one slice and one box for quite some time, so this sudden four day drought has just made the mission hustle miserable.
Now that I have two of them I'm hoping I'll be able to spread them out throughout the day, only using them when I really need it. I'm not sure how much this will alleviate the problem yet, but we shall see if this means I need to pick up a third slice or second box immediately.
Ending:
And for the end to the day, we have the mission count. Since I took it a lot slower today, I only managed to get 8 missions done. Still, better than nothing. To think I was so close to hitting 4000 permanent fans and I've had to put that on hold just to be safe. But it's not too much of a problem, growing pains were to be expected. With this new card I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things and pick up another pack in a couple days.
