Today in Rising Star was a bit of a short one. I didn't have a whole lot of time on my hands for the day, but I still tried making the most of it. I ended up making about 3700 starbits for the day, roughly 300 under my average, partially due to some low reward rolls, but hey, it happens. Not only that, but I also managed to squeeze out around 500 experience for the day. A bit lower than I was hoping for as well, but that's just from the lack of quests I could perform.
I guess it wasn't all that bad though. I didn't even realize that I had even completed 10 of these missions already until just now. I was just tapping on through them like they were nothing. I will say though that the extra 20 minutes has finally caught up to me in terms of playing throughout the day. I'm sure it will take a few more to get accustomed to, but I can't tell you how many times I checked the game every three hours thinking I was running Saturday Headline missions only to be greeted with another 20 minutes to wait through.
To buy or not to buy:
This is something I've been debating back and forth on for a while now. I'm not particularly a big fan of picking up card packs because my luck isn't exactly the best. I know we get at least 1 rare or higher, but knowing me, I'll probably get something I don't want or need, such as instruments that I'm not focused on collecting. The plus side to this though is that I can sell them off if I really don't want them.
While I haven't bought them regularly, I think I can afford to buy one to try it out while I'm on the way to 5k fans. After all, it has been 3 months since I've bought my last pack. All I have is commons and rares. While this is fine for collecting, I would like to get my hands on at least an epic card. I could also withdraw my starbits now and grab a pack but I think I'm going to wait until tomorrow so I can just grab one right after withdrawing 10k starbits. Either way, I probably won't start looking into buying more packs until I start going for and reaching one million starbits for the card to earn 10k starbits per day.
Ending:
Finally, we end the day out with our daily mission check. Today ended up being a bit of a slow day as I had my hands full for most of it, but even with that I still managed to knock out an extra 13 missions, bringing me to 752 total.
Tomorrow could always be better, let us never forget that. While I definitely hit below my average starbits for the day, I'm right outside of grabbing my first booster pack in 3 months, which is what I was aiming for today. Anyway, fingers crossed that we have some good luck and get some new cards.
