Today in Rising Star was a whole lot more productive compared to yesterday. It felt like I just went and grabbed an extra 1k experience out of nowhere as I flew up to level 43. As if to taunt me, the pizza slices came back with a vengeance, one after another when I didn't really need them, some when I did. It's days like these that make me want to hold on to four pizza boxes, just in case the game decides to bless me for the day.

Mission earnings:

In today's mission grind I managed to push well beyond my typical average in starbits. I think part of it had to do with me grabbing an extra acheivement by completing my 100th mission of Open Mic Night. Regardless, if we subtract 8921 from a total of 14656 starbits, we can see that there was an increase of +5700 starbits since my last post.

While I spent some extra time in the discord today, I was going and switching up my usual mission procedure. I ended up doing 4 demo missions total and the rest were illegal busking, radio interview, open mic night, and mid week support slot. The demo missions allowed me to earn about 50% of today's starbits with the rest coming from these lower level missions.

My first pack in three months:

It's a bit of an understatement to say that I've gone a while without buying any card packs. With that, I felt like it was about time to give it a shot. I wasn't expecting to gain a whole lot but I think I left with a decent lot here. If you recall my earlier posts when I started, I was stacking Buster cards early on to unlock more missions for a while, and this one makes it my tenth Buster card. The next two here are both new to my collection. I was kind of wanting to get one of the new 125 fan/75 skill cards, but I'll take James and slide him on over next to Barney.

Honestly, this might end up being the way to go in the future if card prices are going to stay as high as they are. A lot of the rare cards (cheapest one's available) have been around 8k+ starbits on average, if not higher. At that point, you may as well just go for the card pack, get 2 extra cards and hope you can pull a card of higher value. If I can have another day like this tomorrow, then I'll be all set on grabbing another pack. That or I can just push all my starbits into record staking to pick up 12 packs for 100k starbits.

Stats:

This new card haul has brought up my fan count to a total of 3845 permanent, while the drunks I find from recording demos has gone up and over 350. I don't think I really need to pick up a whiskey bottle at the moment, but it has been on my mind. I think I may just wait on that until I hit 5k fans as I kind of want to grab another pizza box.

Ending:

Overall, today was a much better day than yesterday in almost every way. I earned a lot more starbits than my usual average and I managed to bang out a total of 30 missions today like it was nothing. I'm not sure if I'm going to switch up my current plan of completing missions, but I'll give my new plan a few more days of testing and see how it averages out.
