Selling/offering lollipops at pharmacies is a mindful idea?

The fact that I can see the lollipops in front of the pharmacy desk (and that kids can see them, too) strikes me as quite odd.

I am aware of the pharmacy's policies and the justifications for supplying or selling (I'm not sure yet) lollipops to families with young children, but wouldn't it be preferable to provide healthier alternatives? Since lollipop sugar content is high and children's microbiomes are still developing, lollipop consumption will eventually cause all of the youngsters to have health issues.

Have you ever wondered why there has been a lack of nutritional education in schools? Food plays a vital role in our lives, and understanding its impact on our bodies should begin from an early age. It's puzzling to think that despite the importance of food and water for our well-being, many individuals lack the knowledge to make informed dietary choices. By recognising our bodies as intricate machines, we can appreciate the significance of fuelling them with the right nutrients.

When individuals lack nutritional education, they may unintentionally develop unhealthy relationships with food. Without understanding the nutritional value and effects of certain foods, individuals may turn to unhealthy options or rely on processed and convenience foods that can be detrimental to their health. By teaching individuals about the benefits of nutrient-dense foods, they can develop a positive and nourishing relationship with what they consume.

So even if we do not recognise it yet we need to take responsibility and educate ourselves on healthy eating so that we can pass on our families and the next generation, thanks to the abundance of knowledge available online nowadays.

Would be so important if pharmacies could be mindful of the nutritional impact and overall well-being of their customers, especially children. By diversifying their offerings to include healthier alternatives instead of lollipops, pharmacies can support families in making better choices while still providing a positive experience.

Making informed decisions can help you to take care of your health and the health of your family.

Happy Monday everyone!😍

Absolutely right! Some schools near us sell assorted sweets every Friday, which I disagree with. So, I decided to donate carrot pancakes to be sold instead. You wouldn't believe how many kids queued up for them. If there's a good and healthier option available, kids naturally gravitate towards it.

That's fantastic! 😍 Your initiative to donate carrot pancakes as a healthier alternative to the assorted sweets sold at schools is commendable. It's truly inspiring to see how children naturally gravitated towards the healthier option. This experience highlights the importance of providing alternatives that prioritise their well-being. By offering nutritious and delicious options like carrot pancakes, we can create a positive impact on their health while still satisfying their taste buds. Your contribution is not only promoting healthier choices but also raising awareness about the benefits of nutritious foods. It's a great step towards creating a healthier and more mindful environment for the children. Keep up the excellent work! 👏👏
