Sometimes when I look at my landscape photographs I feel like giving up this style, mainly because in the place where I live it is really hard to capture those vivid colors as in other photographs I have seen, with some colors like green or blue so vivid that they really capture the attention, then I remember that all I have at this moment is the warm color of the sun and then I say fuck it, that's what I have and that's the way I'm going to do it.

I know that with my Canon the colors tend to be a bit redder than they should be, that's how the company works but what can I do? I'm a Canon user and I don't plan to change for a long time haha, what I should do is plan my outings better and dedicate myself to take those pictures at sunrise or sunset, since during the day I don't like how the colors are captured in the place where I live.

why stop posting landscape pictures? we love them for sure even though we might not going to comment on every single post you have made, we still enjoy reading your post and look at your pictures, please don't stop doing that, brother.

The thing is that in the city where I live the temperature is reaching 32 degrees Celsius, and the place where I go every week reaches up to 37 degrees and the hot season is just starting, so I think I should stop doing landscape photography during the day, to avoid the heat and too warm colors, but I will definitely keep doing photography at sunrise and sunset, and at night too, I will try to go back to doing street photography in the afternoon / evening, thanks for your kind words brother.

understood, brother, it's ok to pause for a while for sure, you don't have to force yourself to do that everyday, say, only do that once a week is acceptable as well. I though you meant you are going to stop doing that and never going to take the picture for the landscape again, little misunderstanding, sorry about that 😅

😁 Don't worry, maybe I expressed myself badly and implied that, I will keep doing landscape photography but in less quantity, in fact I have about 300 photos to edit, all of them are landscape, but I will start to give priority to product photography, macro and minimalist photography , these are three styles that I can do at home with the gear that I have available in order to not go out in the intense heat, and of course, I will try to go back to street photography which is my favorite.

in this situation you can absolutely pause going out for a while, and go again when the weather is not that hot 😝😝😝 editing 300 pictures in 3 versions are busy enough for you, brother 😄😄😄 but I also look forward to the new pictures of the street photo as well anyway

I think I'll keep working with the photos I have until April starts, and then I'll work fulltime on the other styles, that's the plan.

Why should you? I quickly inspected your blog and it seems you have a pretty diversified portfolio, amazing shots.

Thank you very much, the truth is that it has been a long way since I started in photography, my idea was always to have a diversified portfolio and I am glad to know that you have noticed it, actually I will only stop doing some landscape photography because of the heat outdoors but I will do other styles that I like too.

Oh yeah, we don't feel like doing anything when it's too hot, do we? The sun is always waaaaay too harsh.

I think forcing photography is quite a bad route to go down. The best pictures are the ones made when you feel an innate desire to capture that very moment you see with your eyes. (in my opinion)

Yeah you are absolutely right, photography should be enjoyed and I really do, it' s just that the next months will be of intense heat and that is reflected in the performance, that's why I'm thinking of modifying my habits to go out and do photography, in fact in a week I will go to a place where I will probably see jaguars in the wild, totally wild although I can't say the location for the protection of the big cats. It will be dangerous but it will be worth it, now I just have to have faith that they will show up and let me take the pictures.

Definitely don't ever stop taking good real-life pictures! This is what landscape photography is all about, no matter how fancy the pics would look like compared to others. Here's the point: avoid to see comparisons and focus only on reality! 💪 Keep up the good work 😊

Thank you so much, I love your comment because it is so honest and real.
