This past week has sucked but some new silver did arrive, this month i also managed to complete my rising star collection of cards with every card released from packs and the weather has sucked for astrophotography big time.
The silver i got is a 5000 francs from the Republic of Chad, i got this from my Dad, i didnt know he bought it me. It contains the plaque installed on on the pioneer spaceship and a map of pulsars showing where we are in the universe. I love anything to do with space.
Pro Cards Rising Star
This week i have been in isolation with covid so i have been looking for low energy things to do, so i built myself a spreadsheet to track the pro cards on rising star which will be needed for the next expansion. I can track and balance my cards with this - geeky but cool .
I also managed to get every card that has been released in packs from Rising Star Game, this is no mean feat as some of the cards have a mintage of only 25. If i had to hazard a guess i would say there are no more than 10 people with complete sets but i am one of those :-).
Since my 40th birthday at the start of the month the cloud gods have conspired and i thought i got a break in clouds, under a 98% full moon which is not ideal i setup my small rig which was an effort as i am ill with covid and have very little energy. The skies went from clear to cloudy really quick, i managed 115 seconds of data which isnt really great.
I am currently 5 days into my covid journey and it sucks but i started feeling better yesterday but i will stay indoors for another week, i look forward to a walk on the beach, this image i shot last week at sunrise. It is beautiful this time of year but it is bloody cold.
