In the last Brawl I participated in, I had a battle that I was sure I would lose because my opponent's cards seemed much better, but I had an unexpected result and managed to emerge victorious.

This is the battle I'm talking about, it took place on a Silver-level Gold Foil Fray. Currently, this is the Fray I'm filling in Brawls because I always end up choosing late and only have Gold Foil Frays left, but it's not a problem because I can use these cards to gain bonuses in ranked battles since each Gold Foil card gives a +10% bonus to SPS and Glint gains.
My strategy for the battle was simple, I'll explain how it works:
I chose the Astral Entity as my summoner because it will decrease the armor of my opponent's monsters by -2, it will also grant the Dodge ability to all my monsters, which means they will have a +25% chance to dodge melee and ranged attacks. Lastly, the Astral Entity has the Resurrection ability, which means it will bring back to battle 1 of my defeated monsters. This ability can only be used once in the battle.
The Legionnaire Alvar is the monster I selected for the first position. He has a large amount of armor and with the help of the Void Armor ability, his armor will be able to defend against all types of attacks, and my opponent's monsters will only be able to cause damage to his health when the armor is destroyed.
The Gargoya Devil is the monster I selected for the second position. He is a monster with a ranged attack that is able to attack in the first position.
Magi of Chaos is the monster I selected for the third position, it is a monster with a magic attack.
The Venari Spellsmith is the monster I selected for the fourth position, it is a monster with a magic attack and will increase the damage caused by the Briar Patch rule with its ability Amplify.
The Spirit Hoarder is the monster I selected for the fifth position, it is a monster with a magic attack and will heal my backline monster that suffered the most damage with its ability Triage.
The Supply Runner is the monster I selected for the sixth position, it is a monster with a ranged attack and will increase the speed of all my monsters by +1 with its ability Swiftness.
My opponent's monsters seemed stronger, they had more health and more attack, but with my main strategy, which was to make Legionnaire Alvar defend for as long as possible, I was able to defeat my opponent's most powerful monsters and gain the advantage in the battle.
In the end I came out victorious but it wasn't an easy battle and the main reason for my victory was having chosen the Summoner Astral Entity and the monster Legionnaire Alvar as they both make a great combination.
