Ever since I started playing Splinterlands again, I've been looking for a guild to try something I'd never tried before in the game, which is Guild Brawls. A few years ago, when I was playing, there were no SPS rewards in Guild Brawls, so I didn't find it very appealing to participate in them. But my knowledge was limited because I didn't know that guilds also gave a bonus to ranked battle rewards, and I also didn't imagine that gladiator cards would be used in ranked battles. The result of all this was that I fell far behind because I'd never participated in any Guild Brawls. But I won't make the same mistake I made before, and as soon as I started playing again, I applied to some guilds in the hope that they would accept me. A few days ago, a guild finally accepted me: Under New Management.
I have to admit that I was a bit greedy and only requested from strong guilds because I expected to benefit a lot from what they had to offer and Under New Management is a level 10 guild with a level 7 arena, this means that I can earn a bonus of up to 20% in my ranked battles and I will also participate in tier 4 Brawls where I believe the rewards are incredible.
Yesterday the Brawl battles started and after getting a spot in them I was happy and sent my best strategies for the battle in the hope of not disappointing my guildmates.
So far there are 3 battles and it seems that my greed was greater than my skills because I got defeated in 3. There are still 5 battles left to be completed and I believe that I will win at least 1 because my strategies are not that bad, but since I am still learning after coming back after years so it is not surprising that there are many more experienced players than me. If I don't win any then I'll take a break from Brawls until I improve my skills because I don't want to harm my guild by having bad results.

I started by getting a gold league Fray and maybe that was my mistake because gold league Frays are more competitive, but I got him because I'm currently playing in the diamond league so I thought I would do well, but I'm probably just being pessimistic and I'm unlucky in these 3 battles and maybe I'll win all the others so I'll wait and see what result I get in my first Guild Brawl.
