Today I decided to open more Chaos Legion packs to increase my Chaos Legion card collection in Splinterlands.
As I mentioned in other posts, one of my main goals in Splinterlands is to build a card collection so that I don't have to spend money renting them, so my costs to play will be lower and my life in the game will be easier because I will only need to log in and start ranked battles.
To build a card collection I decided to start with the Chaos Legion card edition, currently this is the cheapest edition in Splinterlands and the cards are very useful and powerful, so it is the best option for a beginner who doesn't want to start spending a lot in the game.
To increase my Chaos Legion card collection I have the option of buying the cards on the market or buying and opening Chaos Legion packs.
In my opinion, the best option is to buy the cards on the market because that way I won't have to depend on luck and I can select the cards I want to buy, but I like to open packs in the game so sometimes I decide to buy some and try my luck.
Today I went to Hive Engine and bought 3 more Chaos Legion packs to open, so let's see how my luck is.
Each pack cost me 1.19 Swap.Hive and in total I paid 3.59 Swap.Hive for the 3 packs.
After buying the packs I just need to transfer them to my Splinterlands account and open them. Don't forget to use Alchemy potions and Legendary potions because they will help you get more valuable cards.
The Alchemy potion increases the player's chances of getting Gold Foil cards in the packs.
The Legendary potion increases the player's chances of getting Legendary cards in the packs.
After having the packs in your account in Splinterlands and the potions, it's time to open the packs.
Unfortunately my luck today was terrible and I didn't get any Gold Foil cards or any Legendary cards, so opening these packs was a big loss but it was fun.
The total amount I paid for the 3 packs was $1.22 and the amount I got from opening the 3 packs was $0.30 so my loss was $0.92.
Opening packs is always a risk because it depends a lot on luck, but I like to open them sometimes because I think it's fun and because I have the hope that at some point I'll get a Gold Foil Legendary card.
