Yesterday a friend of mine came to my house to tell me he's in trouble. His facial expression really shows it and the first thought that came to my mind was to make sure no one has followed him to my place. I looked out through my glass windows to the outside, in his confusion he asked me if I'm expecting a visitor, I said no I'm just checking something.
I then asked him “What is the trouble?”. He gently dropped down onto my sofa with one of his hands upon his head and he shouted :"He!”. To me it was as if someone had died or did he kill someone?. I was still standing with curiosity because I needed to take quick action depending on what he said the problem was.

If it were kidnappers pursuing him or police or anything so I can take a quick action before it's too late. My friend looked up to me and said she's pregnant. This was actually far from what I had expected so I asked “who? “ he said Cynthia is pregnant. Cynthia was his side chick whom he seemed to even love more than his girlfriend. It's true Cynthia is very beautiful as a woman but on many occasions I've told Mark my friend to choose one among the two because there's nothing hidden under the sun.
I remember telling him that one day the two women will come to understand that he is a cheater and not trustworthy and it will really hurt their emotions which may even bring him to his early grave. Mark has never been the type that easily makes decisions especially because he's benefiting from both sides, he has been delaying ever since.
I asked him if anyone else is aware of this and he said “No”. I found myself suddenly weak too, I thought about his girlfriend, the girl I know who is always soft hearted and full of good character. How would she handle this news if it ever gets to the extent of her hearing? I became really afraid in my heart when I thought of the girl committing suicide or doing more terrible thing because of the action of the one she so much loved and trusted.
I was really angry with my guy, the only thing that came out of my lips was I've been telling you but you did not listen now you've seen it. He said he had told Cynthia to abort the baby but she refused. I said sure that's good, any reasonable woman will say no to killing an unborn baby whereas there are many in the world who cries to God for at least one child because they could not conceive.
I clearly stated to him that if I am a woman I will not even take that as an option and in fact it will result in serious provocation. He then asked me what my suggestion would be. I told him that the best thing he can do is to clear the tables out, he should tell his girlfriend the truth of what has happened and meet Cynthia's family since her parents are people of high reputation in the society and will take the issue more seriously due to their status if they get to know he had put their daughter in such a mess and then start denying or even ask for abortion which most pin this part of the world do not believe in.
I told him it's risky if he makes any wrong move and that may lead the girl to lose her life or mental state. After I had told him all this, he paused and wiped his face with the palm of his hand. All of a sudden he burst out into laughter which seemed to be a bit uncontrollable. When I asked what was wrong, he said that no one is pregnant but he just wanted to know my reaction.

He then added that he had made up his mind to leave Cynthia before she may hook him up with a thing like that. He then broke the news of going to visit his girlfriend’s family within the week for proper introductions and to indicate his interest in their daughter and do other necessary things at due time. He said he had come so I'll accompany him on the journey. Honestly that was the least I expected to hear and I was happy to hear this and more happy that the stories he first came up with were not true but just to pull my leg. I happily told him I'll be accompanying him to visit her potential future in-laws.
