Yesterday @belemo held a Twitter spaces about Hive and it’s ecosystem and it was amazing. Thank you for that, you should do more of that and bring some of your big friends to come speak too. It was beautiful that a user “Undefined” (I don’t recall his handle, I think he’s a dev) was so kind to give insights and offer help and suggestions to noobs like myself.
The interesting part for me was that hive is a community based ecosystem and everyone has a part to play in building it out to what it’s meant to be.
I wish more people knew about hive, the freedom it offers, the fun behind it, the people already in it (too nice and always willing to help newbies). Until then, each of us play a vital role in the PR of hive.
Yesterday, a tweet from the 3speaktv handle highlighted what hive has had for years but a podcast that recently added it is being praised for it. I understand that there isn’t like a budget for advertising and each developer or big user may not have the reach of an influencer to bring more noise to hive which means we’re still very early and when people realize, hive will melt faces. Eventually, they’ll know, eventually they’ll run to us to onboard them and i am looking forward to that day. I do what i can everyday to tell people about it, a friend signed up yesterday ☺️☺️
As a human, I just wished the hive ecosystem got more recognition for all it has going, but maybe partially so i can earn more from it😂, jk. From having the biggest P2E in the space with splinterland, to being early on web3 and NFTs, it doesn’t get enough credit.
While the spaces went on, a friend sent me a dm asking about hive central database that @belemo mentioned. He wondered, what happens when the central server is down? I tried to give an answer about hive having different layers but I am sure I didn’t do justice enough so, I’ll let @belemo and whoever else has a better answer to this question take a stab.
