When you happen to be a tech enthusiast, it means that you must really have power on all your gadgets all the time, including your phone, laptop, and whatever else you might be using, especially when you are addicted to your gadgets, which makes you so worried when there's no light on them.
Most of us depend on power and so on, and without this, most of us are reckless. Not everyone has the money to buy fuel, as it is now expensive, and not everyone has the money to do solar that will supply lights throughout because even that alone is a lot of money.
Normally, power outrage is something normal in my dear country, and there's nothing we can do about that other than have a good solar or generator that will generate power supply for us. But not everyone has the ability to do that, or, let me just say, I don't have the power to do that yet. And I'm this person who will need power on all my gadgets because I work online. We have been having power outages several times, but this particular day is different. On this very day, we have no power at all. Let me say that it's been three days of total blackouts. I also have small gadgets that power my phone, so I always manage my laptops, but then even my power bank is dead and my laptop has just a few percentages on it, and it's going to be off soon.
I called a friend of mine and asked her if there's anywhere I can charge my phone. This is because I'm new in that place and I hardly even go out as I have another place I do charge, but this time around it's so urgent that I can't wait and need to charge all my belongings ASAP.
Fortunately, she said she had a place. So I went to meet her, and then on getting there, there's light. First, I had to trek down to the place for about 30 minutes, but that wasn't my problem. Now the problem is that to get there, we have to stay with our belongings because they are all at the owner's risk. I definitely know that my power bank will never be full because it takes 24 hours, so I have decided that I will wait so my phone can charge well and also my laptop. I will just manage the power bank like that.
In short, I was so stranded for hours waiting for my gadgets to at least charge a little bit. While doing that, one person just came in and started shouting that someone stole the original charger, which is very expensive, and he must have it before he leaves the place. The owner of the place came outside while he heard people making noise, and he said we should all unplug our gadgets because he hates something like that, and we must make sure we produce the person's original charger.
At this point, I was so embarrassed because how would I tell them I'm not the one who stole the charger? We are all there together, and no one is pure on that day. The insult is so great that I'm so embarrassed.
Fortunately, after some minutes of him finding it, his brother came around and explained how he came to exchange the charger, but then it's too late because they were already looking at all of us as thieves. I left the place so sad, and I said it's not their fault because it's the power outage that caused all this. Ever since then, I've told myself not to go there again, but then I pray another power outage doesn't happen because, as we speak, we don't even have a power supply, and it's been more than 24 hours now.
Here is my little story, until we meet again have a blessed day.
