Nothing lasts forever, not even the life we are living. In that case, there's no permanent situation. But then we need to know and learn how to handle each situation.
As much as you are a human being, you will face difficult times, happy times, and every kind of time we might have in life. But then the question is, "How do you manage this time when you face them?
Time heals every situation in life; you can't be sad forever because there's an end to all situations in which you might find yourself.
This makes me remember some years ago when I was unable to gain admission into the university as I spent some years at home while my friends were already there. I use that time to invest in something good. Of course, I feel bad, but I never allow it to ruin me. That is why we must have some criteria to follow when we are down and not feeling good at all.

Whenever I'm in a difficult situation, I have some criteria I follow.
I make myself happy with the little things around me. This is necessary because you must find things that make you happy, no matter what. Getting sad when you are having a hard time won't solve any problems. Crying, being moody, and so on will only damage the body's systems. I wish they could solve the issues, but they don't. So I make myself happy with the little things around me. What are the little things I'm talking about?
My friends: We have some friends that won't give up on you no matter what situation you might find yourself in. Yeah, these kinds of friends are still existing. Friends that will take you as their family and will never look down on you, no matter the situations you might find yourself in,
Also, try as much as you can to avoid negative people in your life. People like this don't have anything good to say about you. This is one of the reasons I personally select friends. Negative people will stab you in the back. I tried as much as I could to stay away from them because they are nothing but bad energy.

I do more exercise or visit the gym. The benefits of exercise cannot be overemphasized. There are some exercises that deal with and work with the brain. This type of exercise will make you feel relaxed anytime you are going through a difficult time.
One good thing I also do when I face difficult times is to make sure I train my mind to be calm in all the situations I might face. This is because I know that this time too will pass. It will definitely not last forever.

I pay nature a visit. There are lots of things to know when it comes to nature. Nature is calm and friendly. I personally talk to nature. Once I'm not feeling too good, I make sure I visit Mother Nature. They are so calm and always keep secrets. I have never regretted visiting nature.
Lastly, I love talking to the elderly. This is because they know more than I do, and they have passed through that stage before. Before one can grow old and become an elderly person, they have to pass through one stage after another. And you will have a way to solve those problems then.
These are ways in which I overcame my difficult time.
