Greetings friends of this amazing insect community. It is a great pleasure for me to stop by today, to share with you as my first post in this community, a little bit about this caterpillar that I found hanging in a tree and I took a branch to see it closely, since for the first time I observe a caterpillar that creates spider web since I have always observed that they are green lar that we commonly see in mango trees.

Es un grato placer para mi hoy pasar por acá, para compartirle como primer posts en esta comunidad, un poco sobre esta oruga que encontré guindando en un árbol y tome una rama para verla de cerca, ya que por primera vez observo una oruga que crea telaraña ya que siempre he observado son lar verde que común mente vemos en los arboles de mango.
In doing some research I found that there are a great variety of species of weaver caterpillars. Especially this cocoon weaver is considered a pest because they devour the leaves of the trees where they perch and weave their cocoons. As it is also very common to observe them more in spring. It should be noted that you should feel affected if you have crops and you have their presence you should call professionals to exterminate them because you could lose a great investment. But if it is not the case and it is only in a tree and you leave it alone, it is not offensive and it did not choose to be in your way.
Many times we tend to be in rivers, beaches or mountains and often develop a desire to kill the animals that inhabit it, whether snakes, worms, spiders. And it is not very easy to understand because if they are in their territory and we must respect it just by moving away from them we can be sure that they will not do us any harm.
Investigando un poco encostre, que orugas tejedoras existen una gran variedad de especies. En especial esta teje capullo es considerada una plaga ya que devoran las hojas de los arboles donde se posan y tejen sus capullos. Como también es muy común obsérvalas mas en primavera. Cabe destacar que debes sentirte afectado si tienes siembras y tienes sus presencia debes llamar a profesionales para exterminarlas ya que podrás perder una gran inversión . Pero si no es en caso y solo esta en un árbol y la vez déjala no es ofensiva y tampoco eligió estar en tu camino.
Muchas veces solemos estar en ríos playas o montañas y suelen desarrollar como un deseo de acabar con los animales que habitan en ella ya sean serpiente, gusanos, arañas. Y es muy poco fácil de comprender por que si ellas están en su territorio y debemos respetarlo con solo alejarnos de ellos tenemos y podemos estar seguro que no nos harán ningún tipo de daño
