Market Friday: The Old Market Transformed

in #hive-196308last year

Hello Market Friday!!! First of all, I would like to welcome @dswigle and all the members of the Market Friday community. I would like to take you through my first post in this community to introduce you to the atmosphere of the market and the goods in this market. This market is located in the old fish market complex of Sigli City, Aceh, Indonesia

This market is very different from the other markets, even though the name of this market refers to the fish market complex, but there are no fish products that we find in this market.

Look at the atmosphere when you are in this market. Although this market has changed its shape from a market that sells a lot of merchandise such as fish. But this market is still active with existing merchandise. But not fish but various types of shoes, sandals, socks, and bags with various models, and so on that we can find while in this market.

This is an example of a black shoe, like the Road escalante shown below, with an all-new modern look equipped with Altra EGO midsole foam and Standard FootShape.

There are also many bags and sandals as merchandise in this market...

This market looks quite chaotic with its natural conditions that are flooded when it rains. because indeed this market used to be called the fish market since 20 years ago. But now the fish market has been moved to another place. So, that the condition of this market has been changed into a market that sells merchandise such as shoes, bags, and sandals, to various other equipment needs that we can need.

This market is not too big and also not too small, we can walk around this market area, until we can see some beautiful flower pot products that are used as merchandise by sellers.

I hope you like seeing this old market that has changed its shape. Although my arrival at this market is not to buy merchandise, but just to walk around and see the merchandise products sold in this market, adding to our interest in a very pleasant market atmosphere. But next time I will definitely buy something merchandise in this market, but not this time. But at another time and on another day, when I go to this market again.

Thank you

thank you so much love #Marketfriday

Welcome to #MarketFriday! How interesting that they would use an old fish market! I could only wonder if I could smell the fish while walking through there. :) It truly does still look like a fish market with wet floors, doesn't it?

So, are the prices inexpensive here? Or are they well-priced but not cheap? I can't imagine them being expensive, but, we never know! The building was pack full of stuff, wasn't it?

Your post was your first for this challenge, so I just want to say that you had plenty of pictures, but, please do not reuse the same pictures more than once in the post. I leave you with the guidelines of the challenge, not rules, just help so you know these things. Thanks for taking us along!

#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers' markets, and eventually branched out and evolved over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, and even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact that these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world. Thank you for being a part of #MarketFriday

Rules of the Road to Join #MarketFriday!
Go to any type of market, or anywhere that you pay money for a service. It can be a museum, a movie theatre, or an auction. Be creative!
Tell us a little bit about the market or the event. What brought you there? What did you buy? How much did it cost? We like to compare prices, otherwise, it is just pictures of a market!
Post the pictures! No out-of-focus ones, please! Tell a little bit about the pictures that you post. Having many pictures to scroll through does not make a better post without explanation.
