This is my post for freewriters 2513 prompt psychology of the weird hosted by @mariannewest

Exactly one month ago today, I posted about my husband losing his wallet, I kept telling him that maybe someone would find it and put it in our mailbox. Today was THAT day, it was in there, Yep, IN THE MAILBOX, Am I physic?, but to understand the psychology of the weird I am clueless.

Instead of them opening the pocket area where he had a twenty dollar bill hidden, they ripped the wallet to get it out. everything was there except the 20 and his fishing license.

He had already applied for new bank cards and fishing and driver's licenses. He got new numbers on his bank cards but the fishing license is the same number. My husband is a worrier, so now he is worried that if someone gets a fishing ticket and does not pay the fine, he may be put in jail. I told him if that was worrying me, I would call the office and tell them my wallet was lost I applied and got my new card, and now my wallet was found but my fishing license was the only thing not returned.

His answer to me was, I have already told them I lost my card!!!!!.... I am no longer talking to him about it... talk about the psychology of the weird, I think it is weird to worry about something and not do anything to relieve the worry.

I was in the process of taking down my swimming pool and I knew I put the little bait net I used to clean it out near my boat, I searched everywhere for over 30 minutes and could not find it. I know at least 2 times I stood by my boat with my hand on the upright of my boat trailer, which is where the net is sitting, I lifted the small blue pool more than twice. I walked to the other side of the pool and stood there wondering where it could be. Can you believe, it was next to where I was just standing, on the other side of the pool?

Now THIS story illustrated the prompt ... the things we know that we can't explain how we know them ... the things we worry about to maintain some sense of control over the future when we can solve the problem ... the way our minds direct us to solutions we don't know we understand ... PERFECT!
