Hey, community!
The long-awaited @hivefest after-movie is finally here!
In short, it took longer than expected. After receiving it just before Christmas from my editor, I sensed that something wasn't pieced together properly, failing to capture the authentic essence of the blockchain, @hivefest, and our incredible sense of community. Consequently, I made the tough call to scrap all the hard work from the editor and start afresh. It demanded endless hours and effort to present it in the best possible fashion. While I won't go into the nitty-gritty details, piecing it together was exceptionally challenging. I hope you'll understand when you see it.
I genuinely hope this video brings back memories and rekindles the spirit of Hive itself.
A special thanks to @jeffjagoe, who has been a dedicated participant in every single event, riding this horse since 2017. Jeff and I share a unique story of how we met, thanks to Hivefest, and he had to be a central character in this video.
The video wouldn't be complete without featuring those who experienced Hivefest for the first time, such as @manuphotos and @gr33nm4ster, capturing the essence of what it feels like to attend Hivefest for the first time.
Excluding the always happy and smiley @arcange would be a crime, and jumping in the jacuzzi with @roelandp seems to be a tradition (I had to).
Another round of thanks to @starkerz & @theycallmedan for hosting me in Mexico, and to @detlev & @eturnerx for providing some of the drone footage.
