It's crazy, I nearly fell off my chair when I saw that they developed a new game mode for bots... Other web3 games try to remove bots but here they want it. Farming/staking NFTs for me are boring, we just need to look how nearly every game on Wax has died with this format. I have now switched to a bot from this season too. It was fun to play you as a real player.

Yes, and this sentence of yours brings together everything that Splinterlands should focus on and protect: fun among players.
I didn't sell Byzantine Kitty because it was the card I used in the game and liked the most, those who use a bot only have an interest in the rewards and since they earn them without playing they are much more likely to sell them.
Fun creates loyalty with any game but this reasoning.
Heartstone does not give out rewards for playing but makes money from selling cards and has chosen not to tolerate bots...Splinterlands does... Often it would suffice to take an example from similar projects that have been successful in order not to go wrong...
