Saturday Savers Club - March-ing On

Hello to all Saturday Savers. We are now at the end of week 9 and March is already flying in. You can check what week it is here.

This week the question asked of the Saturday Savers Club was how would you save $10 a day? here

I am salaried so get paid once per month and I am usually using the method of "paying yourself first". I am not sure what guru that might have come from now, but I have found it to be the best one for me.

Straight away I would take the difference between my planned living expenses away and put it into my savings account and try to get this working for me. This would then keep me incentivised to stick to my budget.

On to this week's numbers:

My main target is to grow my Hive Power.

Start: 56314
Target: 100k

My Hive increased by 281 since last week and although I did buy some Hive, I didn't power it up, I did something else with it as I will tell more about below.

The price of Hive is hovering around $0,41 and if it goes below $0,4, I might take the opportunity to buy some to power up and catch up toward my goal. Currently, I am 5403 Hive behind my target.

My second goal is to increase my ALIVE power to 25k. This is my current progress:

This week I staked 235 ALIVE tokens which is a decent amount. I am only slightly behind on my target by 301 ALIVE tokens that I am sure I will be able to catch up on in the coming weeks.

My final goal is to increase my staked SPS.

My SPS increased by 5402 this week as I bought some Hive and powered up 5000 SPS with it. This more than doubled my staked SPS and means I will reach my 10k goal this week.

I decided to buy SPS instead of powering up Hive because I think I need to more rapidly increase my SPS stake and it also provides extra GLX token income which will come in handy once Genesis Soccer League is released.
