Welcome to my latest HashKings update. I am really starting to love this game and all the mechanics surrounding it. What is particularly good is that many of the elements are freely tradeable on the Hive Engine or NFT Mart, so they are not stuck within the game.
I have just harvested another crop in Afghanistan and needed to buy new seeds. But which ones?
There are a few different seeds to choose from and they have different times for growing and BUDS produced. The most BUDS is what we are after, but time could also be a consideration.
Looking on the market, there are many different prices to consider too. It can be confusing whether you are making a profitable consideration or not. You also need to consider that you need to buy or produce the HKWater token too.
I made a quick table with some calculations to see which is most profitable. The big warning sign was that some seeds would lead to a loss-making situation. Pablo Escobar would be freaking out if we were losing money in this line of business.
I will expand the table to include the costs of HKWater to get the net profit, but it was good to show me which seeds to buy and which to avoid. The Afghani looks best with a best per day production amount and most efficient use of the land. This is because although the Mazar has the lowest seed price, the overall yield is much lower and it produces the least profit
I might be able to expand this table later to see if it is worth renting any land for growing BUDS.
Knowing my profitability, I can safely buy the required seeds and resume planting.
I like to buy a few packs of seeds at a time because sometimes I don't have time to look at prices etc., so it can be convenient to just plant them as needed.
How is your profitability looking like?
Thanks for reading.
