How are you all? Hope you all are good and enjoying yourself. I'm also good and enjoying this winter season alot.
This winter i shared many recipes, talk about many winter's food but there was still gajar ka halwa left. And winters are incomplete without gajar ka halwa.
Gajar ka halwa is a dessert / pudding made with ghee, milk, grated carrot, sugar and some nuts. We can garnish it with cashews and pistachios. This carrot pudding can be enjoy throughout the year but it gives best taste in the winters. Can be enjoyed hot or cold.
The best thing of this halwa is that " ye sirf muh me hi mithas nhi gholti , balki risto me bhi mithas gholti hai 😊...kyoki gajar ka halwa banne aur khane dono ka maja apno ke sath hi hai 😍.
There are many ways to make this pudding. Some days ago me and my mother-in-law prepared it with a simple method where first we boil the milk and than add grated carrot in it.
This recipe took some time but at the end we get fantastic results.
We have to stir milk and carrot occasionally. At the end add the sugar and cook for some time. Garnish it with nuts and enjoyed with your loved ones 😊.

We can store this halwa for 2 days in the refrigerator , but there is always a different pleasent in eating pudding fresh and hot.
