Last evening me and hubby went on a long drive towards the mountains. By the time he had come home from work, it was almost sunset time and it took some time for us to leave. When we left it had started getting dark, so when we reached the spot that we had decided it was not very dark but there was hardly any daylight. I enjoy watching sunsets and at the same time the sky after the sunset is also beautiful, especially up in the mountains.
I love the spread of the color in the sky, the colors in the sky makes it look magical. I wonder sometimes how would looking at Northern lights be like. It truly must be something to watch. It is my desire to visit one of those countries from where you can see Northern lights. I am sure someday I will be doing that. But till then I can be happy with these colorful views of the sky in my region.
The real joy of life we get is from these simple things around us which costs us nothing, especially what nature gives us. Whenever I am in connection with such environment I feel recharged and renewed. There is a coffee shop up here, so me and hubby spent some time sitting up and then back home. The place is not very far, it's like 45 minutes drive one way, but then it completely disconnects you from everything and that's what I enjoy the most. Once back in the city then there is traffic, noise and so many people around :-)
