Evening by the Sea side is the best way to wind up the day. Being in Mumbai, I am most of the time out of home. Day time is work and evenings normally catching up with friends. A few of us decided to meet up at Nariman Point, the most busiest place in the city. It's a Sea facing promenade and over the weekend it feels like the whole city has gathered here. It's over crowded.
I normally do not prefer going there on a weekend, but then some of my friends had to travel today and they wanted to be here once before leaving, so we ended up here. One thing is there, no matter however crowded it is, one always finds a place for them self, and so did we. I have seen a lot of changes in this place over the last 30 years. Previously there would be quite a few road side food trucks in this place, but in the last 20 years they were removed and no food trucks or vendors are allowed in this place. Then later a lot of beautification was done, some areas got restricted because there were accidents happening. In the last 2 years half of this area is cordoned because there is a Sea link road being constructed. I am wondering how this place is going to look once that completes. It is going to change the complete look of the place.
Be it whatever, the charm of this place still remains the same and it is one of my favorite place in the city. I love to come here for my walks or sometimes just sit here and watch the sunset. Even at 2 or 3 a.m. this place is buzzing with people. This place never goes quiet.

Look at how packed the place is. The one nuisance that I find these days in this place are the reel makers. You see them doing funny things for their tiktok and insta reels. I wonder what kind of publicity they get from doing such silly things, the fact is that these people do have followers and hence they get motivated to do some silly and funny things.
Sunset and friends are the perfect way to spend a weekend evening. After the Sunset we all proceeded to a friend's house and had dinner there with loads of fun and catching up on old times.
