Women have been considered as the weaker sex throughout generations. Man and woman are 2 parts of nature, we are all created by nature and to think of it why will nature create one of it strong and one of it weak. Nature has created everything in equal balance and we humans over centuries have only known to bring imbalance in that, and that's what we have done with our genders also. The men have kept saying a woman is weak and the women have started believing it that they are weak.
From the beginning of time probably the duties of man and woman have been identified. The man goes out to earn bread for the family and the woman takes care of the home. Probably this was done with the intention because woman gave birth and the child naturally feels more closer to mother and hence this practice must have formed, but then it must have taken a whole new shape where woman started being considered weak because they stayed at home taking care of the house chores.
In the ancient times ideally 1 woman gave birth to 9 to 10 children and imagine how much toll it must be taking on her physical body to go through so many deliveries and yet she took care of the house and the family. Would a man be able to do that? Then how is the woman weak and her body is considered fragile. The pain that a woman goes through at the time of giving birth to a child is one of the most acute pain one can ever feel. And after that she holds up herself and takes care of the baby with sleepless nights. Imagine the kind of energy, stamina and willpower she has to go through all of it.
Overall life expectancy of a woman is more then a man, and why would that be if they are so weak and fragile. A man wants to marry a woman who is younger to him, and he dies first on a large scale analysis. As it is the man is elder and then his life expectancy is less so in this case should a woman not marry man who is younger to her, so that both of them can live together for maximum number of years.
Why were man threatened so much in the past that they started all these politics in the first place of emphasizing that the females were the weaker gender. I believe that whenever any woman who feels weak, it is the generational conditioning that's flowing in to her and she needs to break that for herself only then can she make the daughters of the future generations believe that being a woman is not being weak rather she is the most powerful creation of nature.
Again I believe that nature has it's own way to balance everything and what goes up does come down, so may be not the next few generations but there will be a time when this whole philosophy will be reversed and woman will be considered the stronger gender
