Para esta ocasión he traído una canción de Fito Páez, llamada 11 y 6, seguramente la habrás escuchado por ahí o por lo menos el nombre. Recordé ésta canción gracias a un cover que vi en un vídeo de tik tok, la verdad no sabía que la canción 11 y 6 tenía esa melodía en el coro, ya que la había escuchado antes muchos atrás, a penas cuando era un niño, mi familia solía ponerla entre sus canciones de pequeñas fiestas familiares. La verdad es que mi vida ha sido un re descubrimiento a nivel musical, ya que cuando empecé a escuchar música, no apreciaba nada de los buenos gustos de mi familia, eso debido a que mis preferencias se iban hacia el metal, metalcore, death metal y cosas así, y ahora que disfruto de la música más suave y el rock melódico, he ido recordando lo que mi familia solía escuchar para yo también disfrutarlo.

Ahora bien ¿De que habla la canción? La canción creo que habla de una historia de amor en medio de la adversidad, dos almas que se encontraron en medio de su viaje en un lugar cualquiera, ambos con el corazón abierto para el amor. Algo surgió, se fueron acercando y una relación fue naciendo. Caminaron juntos por la ciudad, se enamoraron, durante su primer mes juntos vendieron rosas por la ciudad, juntaban algo pero más allá de lo material yacía un afecto y un amor increíbles.

Creo que Fito se habra inspirado en una pareja con pocos recursos que intentaban salir a flote con lo poco que lograban tener, pero más que eso, la fuerza de ambos para estar juntos era lo que los mantenía inspirados a seguir adelante. Sin duda, una historia inspiradora que nos invita a creer en el trabajo duro y en la fe en el amor.

For this occasion I have brought a song by Fito Paez, called 11 y 6, surely you have heard it around or at least the name. I remembered this song thanks to a cover I saw in a tik tok video, the truth is I didn't know that the song 11 y 6 had that melody in the chorus, since I had heard it many years ago, just when I was a kid, my family used to play it in their songs for small family parties. The truth is that my life has been a musical rediscovery, since when I started listening to music, I didn't appreciate any of my family's good tastes, that's because my preferences were going towards metal, metalcore, death metal and stuff like that, and now that I enjoy softer music and melodic rock, I've been remembering what my family used to listen to so I can enjoy it as well.

Now, what does the song talk about? I think the song talks about a love story in the midst of adversity, two souls that met in the middle of their journey in a random place, both with an open heart for love. Something came up, they grew closer and a relationship was born. They walked around the city together, they fell in love, during their first month together they sold roses around the city, they gathered something but beyond the material there was an incredible affection and love.

I think Fito was inspired by a couple with few resources who were trying to get by with what little they had, but more than that, their strength to be together was what kept them inspired to move forward. Undoubtedly, an inspiring story that invites us to believe in hard work and faith in love.
