¡Hola! Querido lector, bienvenido a un nuevo post musical :) está vez para la comunidad de Hive open mic en su semana 163, increíble como ha pasado el tiempo desde sus comienzos, agradezco por estar aquí.

Ayer estuve buscando musica nueva en Youtube, no encontraba nada muy atractivo para mis emociones en ese momento, así que se me ocurrió buscar canciones de la banda mexicana de rock alternativo y psicodélico Zoé, una de mis bandas preferidas. Estuve buscando en un par de álbumes y encontré la canción que hoy traigo, la cual lleva por nombre "Dos Mil Trece" (DMT) el nombre me atrajo bastante, ya que dicho año fue uno de los mejores de mi vida, en el 2013 viví muy Bellas experiencias como un niño de diez años en aquel entonces.

Ahora bien, la canción no habla de una época en particular. Estuve investigando un poco y me di cuenta de que "Dos Mil Trece" es una referencia, si lo abreviamos, al "DMT", el cual es un compuesto químico que está en algunas medicinas enteógenas de origen indígena. La canción habla de la experiencia que tuvieron estos artistas al consumir DMT, el cual como dije, es un fuerte alucinógeno que hace que las personas tengan experiencias divinas mediante los procesos momentáneos que éstas inducen. Ya he explicado antes que he tenido experiencias con estas medicinas enteógenas y es algo parecido a lo que describe la canción.

Casualmente, el dos mil trece fue una época en la que también tuve mucho interés por lo sobre natural, investigando y deslumbrandome con historias de ovnis, seres de otras dimensiones y seres sobrenaturales.

La pasión por el arte nace de los recuerdos y las emociones que ésta puede mover y avivar en nosotros. Cualquier tema, cualquier experiencia, todo puede ser activado por el arte y su magia para volvernos frenéticos, felices, conmovidos o inspirados.

Yesterday I was looking for new music on Youtube, I couldn't find anything very appealing to my emotions at that moment, so I thought of looking for songs by the mexican alternative and psychedelic rock band Zoé, one of my favorite bands. I was looking in a couple of albums and I found the song that I bring today, which is called "Dos Mil Trece" (DMT) the name attracted me quite a lot, since that year was one of the best of my life, in 2013 I lived very beautiful experiences as a ten year old boy at that time.

Now, the song doesn't talk about a particular era. I was doing some research and I realized that "Two Thousand Thirteen" is a reference, if we abbreviate it, to "DMT", which is a chemical compound that is in some entheogenic medicines of indigenous origin. The song talks about the experience these artists had when consuming DMT, which as I said, is a strong hallucinogen that makes people have divine experiences through the momentary processes it induces. I have explained before that I have had experiences with these entheogenic medicines and it is something similar to what the song describes.

Coincidentally, two thousand thirteen was a time when I also had a lot of interest in the supernatural, investigating and dazzling me with stories of UFOs, beings from other dimensions and supernatural beings.

The passion for art is born from the memories and emotions that it can move and enliven in us. Any subject, any experience, anything can be activated by art and its magic to make us frantic, happy, moved or inspired.
