Hi, friends!
Well, I’ve finally sorted out my impressions a bit and found the time to write a post about my first HiveFest! 🥳
To be honest, the biggest motivation to come here was the sea 😁
The last time I went to the sea was back in 2017. Since then, I’ve visited countries with seas but only got to be near it—it wasn’t summer, and it was too cold to fully enjoy it.
We arrived a day early, so we had some time to explore the city. The day started with rain, but it didn’t spoil anything. The sea is beautiful in any weather 😉
After lunch, the rain stopped, the sun came out, and we took a walk through the old town, followed by dinner at a restaurant.
By the way, this restaurant is now my favorite in Split. A very cozy place with incredibly delicious food.
The next day, on the first evening of HiveFest, I understood what my mom meant when she talked about HiveFest. She, by the way, came back home absolutely thrilled 😃
At first, it was really unusual. I hadn’t been abroad in a long time and hadn’t spoken English much (though I’m quite good at it). So many people from different countries, noise, cocktails, loud music, lots of conversations… my head was spinning at first 😂
It really felt like a beehive 😁
The next day felt more familiar. The conference took place in a very beautiful gallery right by the sea 😍
In the morning, we were treated to various drinks and delicious snacks, so the morning coffee came with an incredible view!
The day was hot, so after listening to a few speakers, I rushed to the beach I immediately fell in love with.
Turquoise-blue water, small white pebbles, palm trees, mountains... isn’t it a paradise? 😍
The water was so warm that I didn’t want to get out, and I could see my tan developing right before my eyes 😄
I kept running back and forth between the gallery and the beach several times 😄
After the conference that day, there was a gala dinner at a restaurant at sunset.
To say it was incredibly beautiful would be an understatement.
Exquisite dishes, delicious local wine, live music by HiveFest participants, more new acquaintances, and conversations.
And how many beautiful photos I took! 😍
The impressions from the dinner were just fantastic!
After dinner, I couldn’t fall asleep for a long time—there was too much to take in 😄
In short, that’s how the first three days went by.
I’ll tell you more in the next post 😉
Thank you for your visit and support!
Cheers,
