Hello, friends!
My weekend turned out to be quite eventful. And considering that I was sick, these activities were even more of an achievement for me 😁
Since my husband is in love with motocross and the Ukrainian Motocross Championship was taking place not far from our city, of course, we went there 😄
In the morning, I woke up feeling unwell, although I actually sensed the day before that I might be coming down with something. But the weather outside was so nice, warm, and sunny that I still decided to go with my husband to the motocross.
First, we stopped by a café to eat, where I ordered some delicious hot soup. For some reason, whenever you're sick, you always crave hot soup 😃
Then we headed to our destination.
Motocross is a very spectacular and dangerous sport. I really enjoy watching the participants perform jumps or navigate challenging turns.
It’s really tough and scary, so they’re very impressive. Sometimes they fall, and in those moments, I feel so sorry for them. But luckily, there’s always an ambulance present at the competition.
The weather was really hot. Because of this, the track was very dry, and the participants kicked up a lot of thick dust. It looked like we were at Burning Man 😁
However, I was feeling worse and worse. I couldn’t tell if I had a fever or if it was just the heat affecting me. Plus, my throat hurt, my nose was stuffy, and the dust made things much worse since it was impossible to breathe—not just because of the illness but also due to the thick dust. Additionally, it was noisy, and I had a terrible headache. In short, the idea of going to this motocross in my condition was, to put it mildly, a bad one 😂
Though I really do like motocross, and this wasn’t my first time at such competitions.
After the motocross, we agreed with our friends to grill some meat by the river. And since they had already bought everything, prepared it, and were waiting for us at the spot, we couldn’t say no.
I felt a bit better there because there was no dust, heat, or noise.
It was quiet, we sat on the grass in the shade by the water, grilled meat and potatoes, and enjoyed nature and its sounds.
We actually had a great time. And despite everything, I don’t regret not staying home. I try to seize every opportunity that life offers.
But you'd better not follow my example 😂
Thank you for your visit and support!
Cheers,
