55 days to year 2022
Hope you guys having a wonderful weekend.
Life is not easy and most crypto people live extremely unhealthy life.
Sometimes it's worth reminding ourselves why we got into crypto in the first place and reevaluating the direction we're heading and forming a new perspective towards our crypto journey to reassure that you're still passionate about what you're doing in crypto. If we're not passionate then it's impossible to sustain for long period of time.
Since I got into crypto in early 2017, Crypto was my only life. Then Steem became my life. I could write a little book about my own crypto journey because I made many mistakes. Even though it's not easy but I'm embracing my mistakes and trying to learn the lessons from these invaluable experiences.
Any mistake is a wonderful revenue for you
-Jack Ma, founder of Alibaba
Today, I'm not talking about any mistakes or trying to tell you about my entire crypto journey. I would like to share the happiest moment in this most incredible journey.
I think it happened during October 2018, When Dlive exited Steem. I had half of my portfolio in Steem and half in various other coins. After the first initial months of exploring the crypto space, I decided that I'm gonna be a long-term value investor. Thanks to 2017 bull market and I discovered a new hobby called Steem. I was trying to take a little break to reevaluate my life priorities because my wife was pregnant with our first baby, I decided to live in Japan permanently for the first time and we've found a nice little apartment to rent in one of our favourite places in Japan. I thought I will make my active hobby Steem into some kind of investment and decided to take a break from Steem. So I delegated all my Steem power to various different Dapps including Dtube, Dlive, SteemHunt, Musings, Steepshots and Dlive. I was ready to prepare for being a father for the first time. Then all of sudden, I found out about Dlive leaving the Steem community. It was a pivotal moment in the crypto journey and I had to make a new decision. Usually, when I'm not sure what to do, I tend to go for walks. I remember it was a sunny day and I just coming out of this convenience store named 7-Eleven.
While waking away from the 7-Eleven store and looking at the bright blue sky, I felt blessings from angels. I thought to myself, I'm so fortunate to be part of this crypto revolution that's going to positively impact billions of people around the world. I made my money because all the innovators, entrepreneurs and early adopters put in the work to create this opportunity for me and many others.
Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.
If you can’t pay it back, pay it forward.
I wanted to pay back some of the people who inspired me to go all-in with crypto namely, Roger Ver, Charles Hoskinson, Andreas Antonopoulos, Vitalik Butrerin, Dan Larimer, CZ Binance and Charlie Lee. So decided to become an entrepreneur in this crypto world and focus build something of my own or helping someone who is building something.
So me transitioning from investor to entrepreneur was one of the happiest moments in my own crypto journey.
Entrepreneurial efforts often fail but good entrepreneurs don't fail
Would love to know the happiest moment in your own crypto journey.
