Hello lovely hivers, am so happy to be part of this wonderful community, as this will be my first post here. Having gone through several posts here, I realized that this was a perfect place to learn new things as well as showcase one of my skills which is baking and catering, aside music and nursing my profession.
So today I will be showing us how to make yummy š fish pancakeš and this will be in four main stages.
But before i go on with the steps, lemme give a brief explanation of what this pancake is as well as how to enjoy it.
Fish pancakes is a special type of snack which can also serve as a light food that we usually use for breakfast with a cup of tea or plate of custard. It can also be eaten with a bottle of drink as lunch especially in the part of Nigeria where I reside which is Port Harcourt.
It takes just 15 to 20minutes for your pancake to be ready for you to enjoy.

So to prepare this, we need the following items
Ingredients
- Blended Fish (well spiced and steamed).
- All purpose Flour (500g)
- Granulated sugar (100g)
- Knor cube(1)
- Blended fresh red pepper (4)
- Nutmeg (1 seed or satchet)
- Baking powder(1tsp)
- Diced onion (1)
- Water (500ml)
- Groundnut oil (250ml)
- Blended ginger (optional)
- Raw Eggs (3)
- vanilla/coconut flavor(1tsp)
- Milk (2tbsp)

Methods of preparation
The following steps are involved in the preparation:
step 1
Mix all the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl and mix all wet or liquid ingredients in another bowl.
Dry ingredients (flour, sugar,baking powder, nutmeg, powdered milk)
Step 2
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl of dry ingredients, add the water, and stir properly untill well mixed.

Step 3
Add the blended fish and ginger, as well as the vegetables like the onion and pepper to the above mixture and stir very well to mix.

Step 4
Place the frying pan on a low heat fire and grease the pan with 5 to 6 tbsp of vegetable oil of your choice, after which you pour in bit by bits based on the size and shape you want your pancake to take and fry as though u where frying š„, flipping it from side to size until it gets to your desired color, after which it's removed from the pan and served.
