Donald Trump Implicated in Malcolm Gladwell's New Book "The Revenge of the Tipping Point"

You probably know Malcolm Gladwell, he's a world famous writer with some very outstanding books to his name. The adjective "Gladwellian" has been added to the English language because of him.

I've read all of his books except the one released in 2021 called: The Bomber Mafia: A Dream, a Temptation, and the Longest Night of the Second World War.

Currently I'm reading his latest book called Revenge of the Tipping Point: Overstories, Superspreaders, and the Rise of Social Engineering. It was just released last year (2024).

As always it's a thrilling read and I've been waiting to finish it so I can make posts about it, but I just stumbled on something in this book that I can't wait to throw out there.

This book implicated Trump!

And I've never seen anything on the news or anywhere about this, even though it's a colossal writer like Gladwell who wrote this.

There are so many books out there, though, written by people who used to work with Trump that implicates Trump. But I've seen something about them on the news, this Gladwell's book, nothing.

I even did a quick Google search and there were only two or three results that didn't seem to say much. I was surprised.

Here's how Trump was implicated:

The book had to talk about how corrupt Miami is in order to further it's points, and one of the most corrupt guys talked about was Philip Esformes.

The government through Medicare provides money for certain health situations and scamming Medicare by coming up with fake situations is big business. Even bigger business in Miami, and this guy was one of the worst culprits. He defrauded Medicare to the tune of 1.3 billion!

He was found guilty and sentenced to 20 years in Prison.

This guy was chilled throughout the trial, here's an excerpt from the book:

Through his trial, Philip Esformes insisted that he was innocent. He refused to consider a plea bargain, which might have spared him jail. He didn’t say a word to defend himself until the sentencing hearing. He just sat there,

Also, one of his accomplices called Wily Delgado had this to say:

Philip had always told us that he had an ace up his sleeve… and he told me one day that he had connections to make things go away. Which he did, by the way. We saw things go away…

Q: Let me stop you right there. So what did he mean—or what did you understand him to mean by he had aces up his sleeve…?

Well, he said he had some government connections. There was a guy, Jeremy, [who] was connected to the government. I found out— my brother told me he gave a huge donation to a presidential campaign. So he was always throwing it around.

And guess what? After he got sentenced in 2019, in 2020 Trump released him from prison because the President has that power according to the law. How crazy?

You now know who Delgado was talking about. And it's not only about the fact that Trump released him but also because Delgado said "We saw things go away.." which tells you Trump did a number of other favors for him while he (Esformes) was carrying out his crimes. Trump was clearly an accomplice. A highly placed one that made things smoother than lubricants can dream of.

It's crazy how this didn't make the news or the mainstream.

Trump's involvement, as highlighted through Esformes' story, raises important questions about accountability and power dynamics at play.

Lol, you could get implicated for pointing this out as well.🙃

LOL. Me and Gladwell would be thrown into the same cell and I have a lot I'll like to discuss with him 😂

Okay then. I'll see how I can hasten that for you.😂

L🤣L. Pls do

There are some corrupt people out there. It's all about who can benefit from each other and never mind anyone else. They tend to fall out in the end as I expect Trump and Musk to do some time. I dread to think what he will do once he's in power.

I dread the same thing, especially as he doesn't have to worry about reelection. I can't wait to watch this unfold from my country far far away 😅.

The connection between corruption and public figures is always a hot topic, and it is a shame that it is not discussed more.

True.
