Productivity and success are products of hard work. this is a fact that needs no debate at all. during my growing-up years, I used to be jealous of successful people and wanted to be like them. I dreamt of becoming successful in my career sphere. during this period, I used to think that all successful people are lucky people. I used to think that success was inherent to everyone who had gone to school. Most times, when I desired to be like the successful people around me, I failed to see the effort and hard work they put in behind the scenes, rather, my interest was majorly on the result. Hence, after my education, reality struck me that things are not gotten or achieved on a platter of goals. It requires an intentional and strategic effort as well as hard work to do so.
After my university education, I began to look for work, submitting my curriculum vitae all over the town, yet nothing came out of them, I decided to take a teaching job that paid too low at the end of every month. I was working yet I was financially broke. It continued this way till the period of six years was gone, and nothing to show forth as a man financially. Let me say this everyone are product of their thought. whatever lifestyle a person is putting on is a true reflection of his thinking. you cannot grow beyond your thinking pattern. what held me back these years is a belief system I held on to myself that what was gonna be will be. I was not intentional about aiming at higher prospects, and the drive for success was dead inside of me. in a nutshell, I was comfortable in my situation.
The situation that brought a turnaround in my situation was when I realized that I could make money online via #hive. At first, it was unbelievable even when I saw most people making money from it. all I desired was to get a job, despite the lesson that I could make money for myself without working for someone. I was on the hive platform and not much was coming out of it, so I did not put much effort into it. so one fateful day, we were told at my workplace that there wouldn't be a salary to pay us at the end of the month, and nothing would be done about it. I was angry and at the same time anxious about how I would survive for the month. that was when I decided to be intentional with hive, working day and night, and putting in more effort. To my greatest surprise, I was able to make money for my sustenance. since then, I never played around with what brings money to the table. I must ensure that I do the right thing at the right time. also, I never take opportunities for granted.
Things that will accelerate you into success
Be success conscious. Let your mind and your thoughts think about success at all times. dissuade the mindset that whatever is gonna be will be. That statement is not true in its entirety. Everyone has a role to play in achieving success.
Put a lot of effort into whatever you're doing. Endeavor that you work day and night. Do not give room to laziness and procrastination. Have this belief that whatever you want in life you must work for it. Always remember that you are your helper and that no one will come to your aid. With this, you will be cautious about how you do things.
My few months of putting effort and hard work into what I do has paid me off than the years I was wallowing in wrong beliefs and mindset. My finances have changed, and I am living a productive life now.
